It all revolves around relationship. In our walks with the Lord, we do not serve because we want to, because we have to, or because someone once taught us to. We serve because of true faith.

So what is true faith?

“know that a man is not justified by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. … For through the law I died to the law so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

True faith is not a box ticked once and set aside. True faith brings a dynamic, measurable change. The flesh is dead, and Christ now lives in you. And whoever lives in you, you start to see it. It shows.

So ask yourself honestly: what lives in you? What do people actually see when they watch your life, not just hear when they listen to your words? Because whoever lives in you, eventually, people start to see.

Lord, help us. Anoint us, so that a day comes when the change true faith produces in a believer is so plain, so undeniable, that it cannot be argued with. Not a faith of words only, but a faith of works, because that is the only kind the Bible ever calls true.
