Hebrews 3:1
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.
This verse is packed with more goodies than a BLT sandwich! From being made holy, to having a role to fulfil, and so much to think about with who Jesus is…it has it all!
Because we have had the revelation of Jesus given to us we are now made holy, because of our holiness we are allowed to get before God. When we consider all of the people in the Old Testament that were able to get directly before God (Abraham, Moses, Isaiah etc etc) they were all given specific clear callings with what God wanted them to do. Moses had a very clear calling on his life and the direction God was to use him for.
So now that we are made holy through the blood of Jesus, we all now have a calling from God with what He wants to do with our lives. That is so awesome! You have a purpose and a mission with God. Do you know what your mission and purpose is?
If not, I recommend for you to ask God to reveal to you clearly what He wants for you to do with your life. Because a life without purpose or direction will inevitably get lost wandering and like a dog, will return back to its vomit.
