“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of his nature,sustaining all things by his powerful word….” Hebrews 1:3
When we see Jesus, we see everything about God. His characteristics, His mannerisms, His humour, His love, His power. Everything to do with God, we can now see through Jesus. There is only one way in which we can see God, and that is through Jesus.
It brings the thought that, in the Scriptures, whenever we see the glory of God and the manifestation of the Lord we are actually reading about Jesus. So take a moment and ponder throughout the Old Testament all of the times God revealed Himself, and reflect on how that was actually all Jesus.
He is the perfect imprint of God. When you think about an imprint, by nature it contains imperfection due to being a copy of the original. However, Jesus is a perfect copy of God’s nature, there are no flaws. So in our walk and life today where our heart cry is love and know God with everything we have, God has made it rather simple now. Get to know Jesus. As we get to know Jesus we will get to know God our Father as He (Jesus) is the exact expression of God, without flaws or edits.
Jesus is the perfect expression of God and His nature, therefore, ensure you get to know Jesus more and more everyday. He is the only way to God.
