Hebrews‬ ‭7:25‬

“Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, since he always lives to intercede for them.” ‭‭‭‬‬

Jesus can save us completely. Today let us dig into what it means to be saved. The Greek word translated to save is σῴζω (sōzō), which has a primary meaning of “to save, keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction. To save one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, and restore health. To preserve one who is in danger of destruction.

How glorious is Jesus? He is impressive beyond what human words can utter, for He ultimately saves us from destruction due to how we behave. Not only that, but He saves us from the suffering of diseases and poor health! All we have to do is come to Him. There are no offerings, no sacrifices, no being from a unique family, no going to a particular school, nothing. We have to go to Him.

Today if you have not yet gone to Jesus and entirely given yourself to Him, I petition with you to humbly bring yourself to the King-Priest and let Him save you. Receive the gift of being set free from the pain of illness, disease and suffering. Be set free from the fear of death. Be set free from guilt and condemnation for your sin. Instead, receive endless peace, joy and love from God the Father. Be confident in the knowledge that Jesus is always able to intercede for you, which is why you receive.
